A player who has so much heart and passion for the game is an asset to the team and his fans!!!!
Those of you that know me, know I love my Packers! You also know I HATE being on film, BUT... I saw a chance and I went for it!
I was one of six lucky fans chosen,and was fortunate enough to get to ask 4 questions AND make a closing remark!
I looked goofy and giggled like a school-girl throughout, so much so that my face hurt from smiling!
It was more than I ever imagined it could be. It lasted longer than I thought it would! *I feel like I need a "That's what she said" here!
It was so much fun that I am still smiling! I learned some things about him that I did not know before this conversation...he likes movies, and he drives a Cadillac. I heard some things I sensed already; he likes to spend time with family and he is ALL about the game!
I was not only impressed with Mr. Matthews's eloquence and charm, but also in admiration of his easygoing nature. He made everyone feel comfortable with his humorous banter.
He has such a sweet smile. Not many people get to realize the dream of meeting their sports hero! I will not take this opportunity for granted!
The Green Bay Packers have such an amazing group of athletes comprising their squad. I would have been honored to meet any one of the gentleman from the team, but that it was Clay...well...it really was a dream come true! I will NEVER forget the experience! It REALLY was my best day!
So thank you Clay Matthews, Duke, and the entire Packers organization for taking a risk and making dreams come true!
I cannot wait until August 9th when you come to San Diego to play the Chargers in the Pre-season opener! I will be the loudest fan at Qualcomm, the one standing next to the embarrassed looking Saints fan! See you then! GO Pack!
